Mobile Devices Writeback to EBS
- FCS has a host of reporting products (SurfBI) that expose OBIEE dashboards on mobile devices like Apple iPad & Android based devices.
- This content is written on native SDK of Apple to enable touch and feel of Apple devices and for performance.
- The current integration being developed is to use these mobile devices to capture focused data content from mobile devices and "push" the content back to enterprise applications like Oracle EBS.
- This is achieved through exposed public API framework like iRepository, Open Interfaces and AIA (PIPs).
- This extends traditional enterprise applications to the mobile field force both in a connected and disconnected mode.
- We can also build native mobile applications to avoid mobile browsers, using Mobile ADF, a component in Oracle Fusion Middleware.
